Starting is the stage that decides the rest
The heaviest part of an environmental declaration is not the calculation. It is gathering the data: what the product contains, where it comes from, how much is lost as waste, what the plant consumes. That is exactly why it gets postponed — not because the calculation is hard, but because nobody has time to begin.
That stage is ours. You send what you have — spreadsheets, old product sheets, supplier material — and we break it into a structure and store it in the Relevare Hub. Where something is missing, we help you estimate and collect it in line with the standards of the field. We do not stop at uncertainty.
A spreadsheet is enough to start. It is not enough to maintain, and that is precisely why we take it as it is: it is a starting point, not an end point.

The path continues from the same structure
Once the product structure and the plant’s flows have been modelled, the data keeps working. The product changes, a supplier changes, a recipe is refined — the calculation is run again from the product card, on the same structure, and nothing is assembled from scratch. Every calculation is kept in the history.
EPD readiness accumulates along the way. It is not bought in one go. Verification and publication are a decision of their own, made when they are timely or worthwhile — not at the point of starting.
The data and the structures remain as the company’s memory, even as people and subcontractors change.

What the service includes
The Relevare Hub, and the upkeep done for you
- Product structure and recipes
- Bills of materials at line level with material, quantity and waste data. Maintaining the recipes is part of the service: changes are carried into the structure for you.
- Material library
- Emission factors with source references and data quality ratings.
- Transport and plant data
- Energy sources, production volumes and allocation methods — maintained, not recorded once.
- Product-level carbon footprint
- From these, GWP is calculated for modules A1–A3. The calculation follows the module structure and calculation rules of EN 15804+A2, and the result is reported as a self-declaration at ISO 14021 level.
- Media bank and attachment library
- Product images, product sheets, certificates and supplier documents in the same system as the figures and calculations — not in separate folders.
The upkeep is part of the service: unpacking material, reading environmental declarations at a basic level, and carrying the data into the structure. Deeper LCA expert work is agreed separately.
